The Chaplaincy Department was started with one Chaplain posted and supported by the Chaplaincy Department of CMC Vellore to take care of the spiritual needs of the Chittoor Campus. As with other Departments this has also evolved in the last year with the starting of the Nursing College and increased patient load.

We now have regular Sunday evening worship services to cater to the needs of students as well as of the staff and patients.

Other activities include daily prayers in the OPD, Wards, Maithri fellowship for all cadres of staff and staff retreats

We have also initiated the SALINE process training for equipping staff to be effective witnesses.

Counselling and prayer support for patients and staff is main strength of the Chaplaincy Department.
