Dr. Talluri Jeevaratnam

Dr. Talluri Jeevaratnam is currently working as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology. He was graduated from Sri Venkateswara Government Medical College, Tirupati. He did Diploma in Ophthalmology from Kakathiya Government Medical College, Warangal. He worked for three and half years in Leeser Wright Eye Hospital, East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh as a Consultant. He involved in Community Ophthalmology work and performed more than three thousand eye surgeries mainly of cataract.
He finished his masters in Ophthalmology (MS Opthal) from CMC, Vellore. He served in Scudder Memorial Hospital, Ranipet for three years after his Master Degree by reviving department Ophthalmology. He also acquired DNB Degree from National Board of Examination, New Delhi in Ophthalmology.
He worked as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology in Narayana Medical College, Nellore where he impacted several Medical students to take up Ophthalmology as their career. With the same capacity he pioneered Department of Ophthalmology at ESIC Medical College Hyderabad where he worked for two years. He acquired skills in Corneal Surgery during his fellowship at Darshan Eye Care, Chennai.
He did his research work in Critical Flicker Fusion Frequency effect on cataract and autologous blood role in Pterygium Surgery.
