The Medicine department in chittoor campus caters to wide variety of both communicable and non communicable diseases also SLE, Rheumatoid Arthritis,stroke and various other systemic diseases.The labs are NABH accredited and has wide range tests which help in tailoring the needs of individual patient care.Here in department includes various personals from Community medicine to Internal medicine were all aspects of health are taken into consideration not excluding social,mental and physical health. Various health education on diabetes, systemic hypertension and other NCDs are being taught along with stress on Primary prevention. The evidence based medicine is the primary moto which provides unique problem based approach to various diseases and disorders there by achieving the best outcome for all patients. Every effort is taken to provide individual care to all patients visiting the Outpatient Department with access to Mental health counselors and Diabetic Educators .
